You might ask, why is an insurance agent posting recipes & cooking videos?

Well, the answer is rather simple.  For 35 years I owned and operated 5 restaurants & catering businesses. I am a Culinary Institute of America graduate, and I love to cook.  I have been cooking since I was about 3 years old.  My grandmother would put a chair next to the stove when she was cooking for me to stand in so I could help her cook.

Most of what I will be posting will be simple, tasty comfort food that is easy to prepare.  To me, food is my safe place and just plain fun.  There’s no reason to make it complicated, just cook what you like the way you like it.

I usually don’t make the same dish the exact same way.  I’m always experimenting and changing up the recipe to suit who and what I’m cooking for.
